Hornby R3757 RailRoad EWS Class 47/7 Locomotive (Prince William)
The Class 47/7 locomotives are a modification of Class 47/4 locomotives, being fitted with long range fuel tanks and new cabling to work with Propelling Control Vehicles (PCV) on mail carrying services. Two locomotives, 47798 Prince William and 47799 Prince Henry, were dedicated for use on the Royal Train from May 1995 and were designated as Class 47/7c, before being replaced by Class 67 locomotives in 2004 and withdrawn into preservation.
